They have a wonderful location with a lively bar area and wonderful views of the water ways and Mare Island. The food is always dependable, but not spectacular. But with that said I have been here many times and will go again. The service is always great. They’ve got a wonderful group of folks working there. It’s a great spot to dine at before or after getting your wine fix at Vino Godfather on Mare Island.

Visited this location as a last meal before heading off to college. The service was excellent, all of the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. As a party of 9, we made a reservation, but the restaurant was pretty sparse, and quiet, so conversation amongst the table was easy. We got a fabulous seat at the window, with a full view of the Marina. The food service felt more like a premium meal, with bread being offered in the beginning, and because we ordered appetizers, those being served as a first course along with drinks. My relatives ordered some drinks, including cocktails and wine, and enjoyed them. I personally ordered a bowl of clam chowder as an appetizer, and it was very good. Only offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as soup of the day, it had an almost cheesy taste, more like a hint of Alfredo sauce, but a good balance of broth to body. As a main course, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was fantastic, and very creamy. The chicken was well-cooked, with a little bit of crunch due to some ingredient as a coating. The rest of the table also said they enjoyed their meals immensely. Very nice restaurant, would definitely visit again.

This is a restaurant that you want in your neighborhood. You live between Alhambra Willow pass Taylor Jerry. You need to cross town. Monument Willow pass Clayton road. This should be your destination. I have not reviewed the prime rib that they offer on a certain day at a certain time. But in my next review, I will publish it.

Had dinner here last Friday, 05/20/22 and I'm so happy Zio survived the pandemic. This is one of my family's favorite restaurant to go to for special occasions. This restaurant has a beautiful look inside & out. For starters we ordered the Calamari Fritti & Ahi Tuna Tartare. If you like raw fish, I recommend you start off with that! Then, I tried their Beet Salad...it was good but the salad was so drenched in the balsamic dressing I couldn't finish my salad as much as I wanted too. In the future, I probably will ask for the dressing on the side. As for our entrees, I had their special which was the Prime Rib w/mashed potatoes & vegetables. My husband had the Chicken Gordon Bleu. Both dishes were delicious!! We ended our meal with a decadent cheesecake...Love this place! 05/28/22 - Had to go back and get the Beet salad w/ the dressing on the side..

My wife and I happened upon this delightful restaurant on a lovely Sunday afternoon. On the waterfront in Vallejo it is a brief 25 minutes from Walnut Creek. It was suggested to us by an outstanding bartender named Buzz at the Zio Fraedo’s in Pleasant Hill. Upon entering we were greeted by Michelle who sat us at her bar and immediately poured us what we had ordered. We ordered appetizers to start and they were so delicious and filling that we just couldn’t order any more. Michelle was extremely attentive and even brought us a huge piece of cheesecake in honor of my birthday. The crowd there are all friends and made us a part of their family. All in all it was a wonderful experience. Outstanding food and drink and huge portions at a very reasonable price. Along with a kind, attentive bartender this hidden gem is a real winner. Thank you Buzz for the recommendation!
